After looking for a good mecha Gundam 00 wallpaper, I finally cracked and decided to do my own.

At first, I only wanted the mech and the Celestial Being emblem. That didn't work out how I wanted it. Then after messing around in Photoshop, I came across a star field tutorial on the net. The stars didn't quite turn out as I hoped, but they were good enough.

I added the text and realized a solid color on the text might not mix well so I changed the blending and added the yellow drop shadow. Realized the drop shadow worked well, so I added it to the 00Gundam in the foreground and finally, added the Celestial Being emblem with the drop shadow.

I think it turned out pretty good. What do you all think? Do you think anything needs to be changed?

Alright, new version up and loaded. I worked with the suggestion iamfreeska gave, and here is the result! I think I went a bit crazy with the effects, but it works. :]

Edit 2:
Thought the clear banner might be a bit distracting, so I got rid of it. Gave the text a solid color as well.
