This is an old wall back from Oct.04, and will still currently stand as my currently most worked on wall, spending up to 8(5 on the bg alone) hours on it. The original scan was all grainy so I had to reCG it and I finished(2 hrs) but I lost it and was so pissed, I reCG it(this time saving almost every 30 mins). I'm very happy with the results. The flames were smudged with plenty of layer blending. The starish sky and clouds. Roy's Flame alchemist sign was recreated as well... <_<

A really nice wallpaper, I really like the central flames around the characters and the look of the brush and grass to the right. My only complaints are the text; the flames look nice around the letters, but the plain looking text is much too solid and kind of boring compared to the rest. Also, you might want to add more flames and embers, and you might want to get-rid of or move the flame-symbol on the right, it's just kind of hanging there. Also, the clouds in the deep BG looks a little too flat and orange (at this point I'm nit-picking, sorry). Overall, this is a really cool wallpaper (outside the text), just a few little things I would change to make it better.

The starscape is stunning and the flames certainly have a very dynamic feel to them. As for points for improvement, I think Red picked up on those for you :P I'd suggest taking a dodge or burn tool to the flames to get a richer hue variation, at the moment they're very yellow. Also some more waviness, if you want a more natural feel but I leave that choice to you.

Whoa, one of the sweetest Fullmetal Alchemist wallpapers I've ever seen. Lovin it. Definitely a plus favorites for me. Very well job sourounding them in flames.
