Wow. This took quite some time! This is my first time vectoring from a black and white manga scan. I rarely vector, and this was my most different! It was quite a challenge, but at the same time...I actually had fun. :3 Yah, I said it. I had "fun." That's odd for me these days...since I usually dislike the wallpapers and vectors I work on. Well, I like this one. I hope that more people do, too. Now then, here's the nitty-gritty.
I used my scan...I thought this one of Ritsuka was so adorable!! I find it funny that people that aren't familiar with Loveless find it hard to believe that he is a, well, "he." My brother and another friend of mine were like, "You mean 'she,' right? It's a girl, isn't it?" Hah, no. Anyhoo...scan:

Then I continued to vector! This was definitely one that I worked the hardest on. I spent a lot of time on the outlines because I made them really thick at first...and then erased them away. I don't usually do that. I wanted to make my vector different from the original so I changed some things. I got rid of the clover in his mouth, made the clover in his hair yellow so it's more like a flower, and I gave him butterfly wings. THAT was definitely the hardest part. -__- Wretched butterfly wings! I didn't know how to make them look right...I tried so many different versions...different shapes and colors. Then I ended up making them with the freeform pen tool using my tablet. They still haunt me...and that's kind of why I have the layout as I do now...
As you can see, it's a close-up of him. I like focusing on faces, I can't help it! I had the full vector of him in there in the field, but it was annoying me...looked too small, and I didn't want to look at the wings. So here's my other version if you wanna see/download:

The vector had over 100 layers, but I think that's just because I don't know how to combine shape layers like I should. :/ It took about a week of working on and off...so probably well over 10 hours. ^^; Then a couple more hours for the wallpaper. My first fully vectored wallpaper, too! I usually use brushwork for the background, but I didn't this time. Oh, and I found those butterflies for the background here. What else to say other than this is one of my brightest and different wallpapers yet. I wanted it to be very summery. Warm colors everywhere. I kind of feel stupid that I did all that work on the full vector, and then I didn't even show it all off. XD I guess that's why I'll submit it as standalone later! Well, I hope you like this! Thanks for looking--comments are greatly appreciated.
