Team Olivia and Kelsey are epic win! ♥ Yes, I just had to say that. :3 This is the first time I've ever done a collab, and I do believe I chose the right person to work with! Oli-chan is the best ever~ Seriously, if it weren't for her, I wouldn't be where I am with walling now. She's been my "sensei" ever since I first met here over a year ago. XD So yes, it was only natural that she and I make a wallpaper together. It was really her crazy idea at first, and I was doubting my skills to contribute at all, but I think we produced something really nice. :D I hope you guys think so, too. Widescreen is love, so you'd best view that one.

First, the quandary of choosing the right scan to use took a while! With my lack of being online, it was especially hard to communicate and get fast answers...so that maybe took a week. XD We were thinking about whether we should do a vector or not, but since I said "no" to that idea [poor self-esteem in vectoring] we decided on a landscape-y texture wallpaper. :3 And because of my love for Oofuri, we chose this scan:


Oli-chan is wonderful at painting, so we figured that would be the right choice! She painted the lovely clouds and made the sunset background. She also worked with the lighting on the guys, to make it look like they are indeed walking outside during a sunset! I couldn't do that. XD She's so great~ So what'd I do? I extracted and cleaned/reconstructed/repainted the scan. I had to paint in the parts that were obstructed by the stupid crease, and then I proceeded to repaint/smudge the areas that were really crappy looking...like everywhere where there was the sunlight beams in the original scan. The biggest problem was Abe-kun's (guy on the right) catcher vest protector thing. Um, so that took a while. I'm not the best extractor/cleaner. ^^; Then, after we sent files back and forth, I got to work with the textures and the text/title. Oh, and I added the grass and painted those pathetic trees. XD

I liked the wallpaper without textures, but we agreed on it since she was annoyed by her clouds [though they're perfect], and I wasn't happy with my scan cleaning...so yeah, we decided on that. I wanted her to do the texture work, since she's an expert at it, but she insisted I do it. ^^; So I'm sorry if it looks bad~

Oli-chan was wonderful with her painting skills! And she gave me all the textures, which were originally from Desktopanime. She and I took some good time with this, but I'm hoping it was worth it [I think it is]. Oh, and as for the title, "Of tiffs and good plays"...well, they Mihashi and Abe seem to argue a lot (more like Abe-kun yells at Mihashi), so that's where the tiffs part came in, and "good plays" as in good plays during the baseball game. :3 It's odd, but whatever~ I hope you like it! *hugs Oli-chan* We did it. :D
