I haven't submitted anything for a while and didn't really feel like it until I saw this scan on Minitokyo.
Sooo, I vectored the character and the background then added the rest of it, the poles and the railing, painted and shaded them and added a little filter in the end...and it all probably took 15 years of my life.
It looked a bit empty to me so going with some suggestions from SZ I added the text, the stars and a crescent moon. Anything else clashed with the simplicity of the wall.
And, yes, the bars are a bit slanted in the original scan, and they really do look like that - every second bar is drawn back a bit. :3

Dreamy! I like this wallpaper a lot, and it is so true as to what Angel-Zakuro said about finding good wallpapers for this series, well OVAs. I've been looking around in a lot of decent sites but I was unable to find anything on this. When I came here I saw that they had a lot of good scans and probably two good wallpapers which I was thankful for. But this wallpaper wins the prize for me. I love it, it's clean and beautiful and flawless. You did a nice job with the vector. Thanks!
