This is my first serious wallpaper. I chose Urahara because I don't see a lot of wallpapers of him during his shinigami days. I was angsty when my first version of this received a lot of negative critisicm because I thought it was great as it was. Then I remembered part of artistic endeavors is breaking away from what you're comfortable with and now I'm very satisfied after I put in the extra effort.
I also liked this experience because it was the first time I combined several different photoshop techniques I'd learned without the help of a tutorial. It took be about 5 hours on and off to complete.

Congrats on the completion of your first serious wallpaper, and you should be very proud of your work because the end result is of phenomenal success. I've seen your session zero versions but never had the time comment. Some people tend to be really harsh sometimes in their comments but if you dig deep, you will see that they really are just trying to help and good on you for keeping at it despite all the unpleasant reviews that you have received.
