This was a random spur of the moment wallpaper that was heavily inspired by the song Recessional from Vienna Teng's Dreaming through the noise album. It's absolutely angelic. I'm not too much of a fan of Chobits but Chii just happened to fit that description. She's so adorable~ 8)E emoticon

I was aiming for something extremely simple but I'm not sure if the patterns were necessary. This is my first wallpaper so I'm eh-eh about it~ constructive criticism would help me improve greatly please |(C_C)| emoticon

Sorry I don't have a varied resolution available :( I promise next time I try something, I'll have at least two resolutions at hand!

Nice one! I like the background color it's very calm and Chii was really pretty here! I'll put it as my recent favorite wall and I will put it also in my wishlist!

As much as I hate Chobits, I LOVE the layout and design of this wall. :)
That green is one of my fav colours and the texture is nice. ^_^

Wow... I wonder what the chances are... I just uploaded a wall with the same scan series (though mine is a different angle and revectored). Just wanted to say that I had not seen this before uploading mine.
Anyway, it's a great job and especially if it is your first wall! Though I would have liked to see it in bigger resolutions. This kinda limits the use to old laptops.

Simple yet impressive.
The lyrics suit Chii well, since her characteristic is like that. The scan is nicely done. How about the diagonal lines that I see? You did that?

Overall, for your first wall you've done pretty good :) The bg pattern is nice, and the text is done very tastefully as well. The simple design complements the scans of Chi you used, so everything fits nicely ^^

One thing you might want to note though, for the future is that you might want to take a more dynamic design stance for your wallpapers. Feel free to try out different styles and character placement. From this wall, I can tell you have a very good design sense :) So I'm looking forward to your upcoming walls ^_^

Nice wallie! Really good job on your first wallpaper. =D I like the patterns in the background, it really matches with chii's pictures. It's simple, but still very good. =] Maybe for your next wallpaper you could try out a different style or tools to make the wallie. Anyway awesome job~! =D

I think it's one of the best wallpapers recently. Minus the text... I don't see how it serves the wall at all... and if those are 'memorable quotes' then I would've chosen more memorable ones...

Overall: Simple, elegant, and sophisticated. But why is text so popular on a wallpaper? Does it really have to be there??

Thank you all so much! Yeah this is my first wallpaper so I'm still trying new things :] I'll keep everything in mind so hopefully my next one goes well :D

@ Jedi: I wholly agree! haha But because I felt strongly about those lyrics and since they were what inspired me to make this wallie, I felt I should do it. I tried to make it not blatant but I guess some things can't be helped. I'll try to keep the text on the downlow in the future! Hopefully make some impressive ones without the need of any text
