this is the original scan
what did i do?
i extend the scan and redid the sky
the clouds are handmade by my extremely old-fashioned ball mouse and smudge tools. thanks to my sister luciferheart for teaching me how to do clouds via mouse.
the next thing i put is a gradient and soft-light it to give a more colorful shades of the sky.
that's all i could describe. :)

I love the resolution and the clouds are just beautiful, I had a ball mouse and I no how hard it is to use so I'm totally impressed that you got such amazing clouds, I can tell you worked hard it's just lovely. B+ .(n_n). emoticon

You did a beautiful job repainting and extending the sky, and you also did a very nice job on capturing a very special atmosphere in this wall. The text though, needs some more work. It's a bit too pixelated and jagged around the edges, not to mention a bad fit with the soft and gentle wall. Also, the positioning of the font is a bit awkward as well. Placing it farther away from the character and more towards the bottom of the wall would probably be a better place.

Overall, the text needs some more editing and time before it'll fit the wall. Otherwise, nice work :)

I didn't see but the version with the text, but I think that the textless version is just awesome! I took a look at the original scan, and the painting you have done with the clouds is highly proficient. Also some very nice glowing effects going on around the edges of the hair.

Definitely a favorite and download. And for a the widescreen version a double fav, if that were possible!
