---INSPIRATION---
Several months ago, a lot of (hardcore) ecchi wallpapers (and scans) kept coming out. So I stopped working on the wallpaper that I was in the middle of and decided I would get revenge by making a yaoi wallpaper… but I couldn’t find any simple scans that I liked or could use (I have limited skills). Since I had wanted to draw something myself for my first wallpaper anyway, I gave up on looking for scans. I began trying to draw some yaoi. And then I realized that I had entered a long stage of artist’s block (or whatever it’s called). It was probably because of my vindictiveness, eh? Lol. Clickie here to see some of my better failures in this stage.

Well, after many months, my drawing skills/frequency of flukes came back to me! So what did I draw? A naked girl who looks weak and worried D8< (see rant for why I think it’s a bit ironic).

I was trying to draw a boy based on an idea I got from a music video. But other than having wings, nothing of this was from my original intent. I left her naked because I thought that clothes were kind of unnatural and unneeded.

Although in my eyes she’s not at all meant to be ecchi, you might see it that way, but please refocus on my drawing skills instead. … It’s the best I can do for now, though. I loved drawing + coloring her face (only) and trying to get it to be captivating so I hope you like it too. I hate her wings because I didn’t know how to draw it until it was too late and it shouldn’t be at that angle. And when I colored it, it looked even poopier. But I can’t fix it anymore because it’s 4:23AM and I'm shivering and I have to go out tomorrow and Corel will expire so I can’t go back to work on it. And I also told `verite that I would finish it tonight (I'm actually quite late, lol).

Anyways, I like wallpapers with plain BGs that allow the focus to be on the character’s mood (unless the BG can add to or make it), so my BG is rather plain (but that’s because I can’t make a scenic one or anything else lol). Anyways, it was my first time using Corel Painter X. *drool* If only I can have it and learn how to use it properly, lol. But actually, I pretty much hated coloring this, especially the wings. She doesn’t really look that well with the boring BG, but hopefully other things will make up for it 8*(… Hopefully she looks ok on everyone’s monitors. Speaking of which, why must people have such huge monitors??

I got the title while listening to the song with the same name (it’s the Bokurano anime’s ending theme). No, I didn’t pick it in hopes that my sister will like my wall more because she loves the song, what are you talking about >_>? But I do think it’s quite suiting (not really the lyrics). I actually want to name it “My Ugly Wing(s)” now.

Sorry, there are no widescreen sizes because I don’t have time/want to elongate her wings and there is no text because I don’t think it would add anything. I don’t have a textureless version either… Actually, if I cut out her eyes…to make a widescreen version… it might look cool…

Well, feel free to critique! But please don’t just say something’s ugly (it seems to be popular nowadays). I’ll learn better if you tell me why it’s ugly and suggest how I fix it (I know the wing is ugly). I can’t fix anything anymore, but I’ll definitely remember any advice given for future works! THANKS for viewing!
