As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

---ABOUT---
This was supposed to be my submission for an Original Anime Art wallpaper contest with ~farizthree and `shigemitsubaki, but, uh... I don't think the contest is really official anymore ==... because the due date was Dec 5th, and I'm obviously late, and I haven't seen tsu's wallpaper either, and rizu submitted his wallpaper a while ago... it's all confusing now X( Nevertheless, I am very happy to have been invited to do the contest.

A lot of time and stress went into this contest. In the end, I failed to make a pretty and detailed drawing like I had planned. I wanted to tell the story behind each big failure I had but I don't think most people would care and I don't have time to write it B(. Well after many no-goods I finally managed to draw something that was... usable... The scanner kinda ruined my drawing (well my drawing wasn't that good to begin with...) and so the quality is bad, even at such a low resolution (yay for small monitor me). This might not even make a good wallpaper. Arg, it would've looked better if I had chose my colors properly ;_; You may notice that I'm not very enthusiastic right now... because I'm depressed... because I suck.

Thanks, Carmbutt, for the stupid suggestions. Don't tell anyone that this looks like that artist's style! Does her hair look similar to the girl in my first wallpaper? OH FAIL#1000.

Oh yeah, I believe that titles should be meaningful, but I just couldn't come up with one for this wallpaper, so... Gintama is lol (what?).

One of the very few actual approvals (most are rejections) to pass me by and there wasn't even a moment of hesitation in doing so. Nice work. Would I be correct in picking a Tetsuya Nomura influence in your submission?

The color of the eyes are really nice. In fact, all the colors are really nice lol.

The leaves go really well with the drawing of the face.

This wallpaper is wonderful. It looks powerfully bright and full of life. And I see what Hates say: It is a bit like Tetsuya´s work.
The color of hair along background is not so good, but forgetting that this gains my favorite.

Awesome. I see your wall came out very nicely, even if you don't think so :) Even though you didn't create the drawing that you wanted, the end result is a very nice and colorful piece of art from you. The eyes have a lot of depth and detail to them, and the lighting texture in the skin and hair is superb. The shine from the lighting in the hair is something I'm particularly fond of :)

I wish my wall (which i'm STILL not finished with :( ) was this good. Awesome, awesome work. I guess if you still don't like what you've made, the popularity of your wall will cheer you up ^^

I keep getting distracted from my school work o.o Pretty walls give me motivation to make walls but my procrastinativeness (wait, that's not a word) always ends up being too strong.
Anyways, I like this one better than your last OAA because it has a fancy bg! I love the color scheme, especially with the royal bg pattern, lol. The vine things seem kinda flat to me, but I guess they're good foil for the depth of her eyes (juicy~). The frost on your window is creepy, lol. Wait...off topic; I forgot what I wanted to say. Isn't Testsuya a Square Enix person? Speaking of which, I finally saw Advent Children, and all I have to say is KADAJ NEEDS A HAIRCUT, lulz. I liked his brother/minion (Yazoo? lawl, what a weird name) person's hair very much. I just noticed, but you keep drawing people without clothes xD

If i had to pick on one thing i like the most on this draw - wall of yours i would say that the eyes and her mouth are standing out as they are so emotional and expressive.
Bravo Luna, you did such a lovely work on this piece...outstanding i must say since this girl has so much feeling underneath...
