D8 I was going to finish a wallpaper for the NEWA contest but my laptop, where my WIP is, won’t turn on anymore.
Anyway, praise is one of the biggest reasons for my loving to draw. It just feels so good… but I don’t get much of it… but I’m addicted to it like drugs, lol (uh-oh, low self-esteem). Recently, I’ve been running really low on praise and that makes me feel like that glob up there (and especially so since a certain cousin who goes by the AP name of xasuka is unknowingly putting me down with her superior marks and plans to go to medical school). So, out of desperateness, I doodled and doodled until this drawing came up. Please give me some praise!!! I’m desperate!!! But by all means, feel free to critique (I know it doesn’t look that good).
So my idea was to have a simple wallpaper with a really colorful character in front of a dull BG. I don’t think she’s colorful enough. And I don’t think I managed to pull off a simple wallpaper. It’s probably too plain or looks unfinished. I couldn’t make her as smiley as I wanted. I don’t like her hand. I couldn't get any hair color to work right. My lineart is not clean enough. >8(
Btw, the original is the 4*3 resolution. Please excuse the text in the widescreen version: I like it there 8D

Mm i reckon its realli creative
even though its like simple, it still gives off a realli beautiful feeling
but i reckon it would be nicer if the background was somewhat more colorul
but not just sum dark colours but sum nice bright yet mellow colour

I love how the color of the eyes seem to outshine everything else. That was actually the first thing that I noticed when I saw this. Her pose is very cute too. I like it ^_^

Porém, acho que ficaria melhor se fosse dado mais detalhes às mãos e o rosto da garota e ao invés da roupa.

And so does this wallpaper. So captivating, tender, so friendly, so... softly intense...
Loved the textures in the girl's shirt. Loved the contrast established between lively, warm colors and those more cold. Also, the idea - simple things taste better.
You couldn't find a better tittle...
As a suggestion, maybe a little richer background could result in a better feeling to the composition - my eyes were thinking about some orange tones. But nothing serious. :P
I also would use another font, not that slim, unrouded one...
"< 3" is my new favourite, for sure!
Make more asap, please...

I love the art and the simple background with the colored girl just works like a charm ^_^
the pattern/flower on her dress looks awesome.
Only complain i have is that the chin looks a bit too pointy for my taste but it isnt that of an issue, it's still an amazing wall.

I think that this is a fantastic wallpaper. The girl does indeed pop out from the background, and since her hair is the only thing with a flat color, it stands out as well. Her facial expression is really cute; I love her smile. Sometimes simplicity is best, you know? I think my favorite is the heart, because I can already see setting up my icons to follow along the line. Superb design. Don't feel self-conscious about it at all! ^_^
