Another desktop, without any character on it.
After watching the third season of ARIA, I was inspired by its wonderful ending animation. So I want the feeling of neo-venezia on my desktop. And this is an attempt. Blue sky and windmill.
All the image was CGI by Maya 8.5, with days of adjusting parameters of cloud fluid. Just because, it is hard to find a good photo of sky in this perspective. The windmills are also modeled in Maya.
I've tried a desktop without character, but that is because its atomsphere was good enough. Still not sure if this desktop will work.

And, by the way, ARIA is GOOD!

Lovely. I love the simplicity and how everything looks so clean cut.
It makes me want to close my eyes, feel the wind, and take a deep breath. :3 The perspective is great, by the way. And the clear blue sky is my favourite!

The windmills are great, the fineness. In comparison though, the sky and clouds should be more sharp, I think it would look a lot better if both were of simliar resolution. Just a little suggestion. :)

Oh, I like this wallpaper.
ARIA makes me feel relaxed, so does this wallpaper.
Although there is no character appearing in this picture, it presents the peaceful feeling of ARIA.
It is creative and beatiful.

This is a beautiful wallpaper with a great concept. I actually like the fact that although it doesn't have a character, people will know that it's definitely ARIA just by looking at the windmills. The clouds could be a bit sharper but that's just me. Excellent job with the render as well. Gotta love those windmills! Good job!

The render could've made use of more antialiasing, as the jaggies are visible when pixel-peeping (it's fine when downsized to 1280x1024), but otherwise one of the more original ARIA walls out there - and my new desktop > :3
