Very clean wallpaper I just made last night out of boredom, used various styles and techniques, like some of it is tech obviously, and sorta alien style I guess.

I wanted to illustrate the theme in Akira where Kai talks about Tetsuo's power, being like a one celled organism being given huge powers and not being able to control them, and Tetsuo's struggle with the godlike power he has attained.

so went from there with that in my head and came out with this in like 4 or 5 hours :) hope you guys like it, it's my first accepted submission.

Thats pretty interesting
i really like the idea and the design is fine as well
but... the whole thing is too insignificant
no matter how well everything is made, the wall looks empty
everything should be bigger or more colorful or something...

I like it. It's different than much of what we see at AP, which is good. I like the way you had a soft layer with dots over the ends of the organism (?) Maybe slightly more could have been done with the empty space (abstract stuff floating around?) but I think that overall it's a nice wall.

It's cool! I can say that it's creative, creating wallpaper with black-white color tone, stylish, with the simple materials, and really simple, may be because of the space. I like the way you do this wallpaper.

If there are wide screen wallpapers, it's much better I think.

Why can't people judge it for what it is instead of what it should be lol, I wanted it simple an empty, to only have attention focused on the theme not flashy effects lol, but anyway thanks for the comments I'll keep all your advice in mind for future works :) cheers.

I like this one: it shows that restraint and subtlety can produce as good (or better) a visual effect as thick layers of colors and sparklies.

It also fills a key criterion: a wallpaper ought to be unobtrusive.

And of course a white-out fits in well with the graphical design of the manga.
