Hmm, i'm not sure about the collaborator part; the collaborator is my brother, but he doesn't have an account here on AP, so i just credited him in the signature.

i know i haven't submitted a wallpaper in a long time, but everyone knows how real life has a tendency to pile up on you. ^_^

anyway, about the wallpaper itself, it's my first attempt at coloring a black and white image from a manga scan. i picked aya because i'd just finished reading scanslations of ichigo. manaka junpei is officially in my top ten list of most contemptible anime/manga characters EVER. sure, there are hordes of harem anime out there, with hordes of generic males who seduce all the women around them by just existing, but junpei is the only one i know who gave up on his love just because he thought she had a boyfriend when it's completely obvious to anyone with a brain that she loves ONLY him. ARGH! aya had such a bum deal. she deserves better.

back on topic, i've been working on the wallpaper on and off for a few months, but the windows on the pc crashed and it took a good long while for us to get our files back. when i finally did get it back, i posted it up on session zero, where most people seemed to think it was ok, except for the tree that aya is leaning on. and i was like, tree? what tree? it's a wall, actually, a sandstone wall. i hope it looks as far away as possible from tree-like now. ^_^
