My contest entry for The Script Refinery's One Word Contest

The challenge was to pick a word as a wallpaper theme and basically make a wallpaper that represent that one word and of course to include the word in the wallpaper. You can check out the specifics of the contest in the group page.

The wallpaper actually took a couple of days to complete. I put in a few hours here and there. I saw the image vector at daisuki.com and immediately thought that it was so pretty. It exuded a peaceful and tranquil feeling. I immediately thought of having "Serenity" as my main theme and therefore wanted to make a serene background to compliment the image. The main background is actually made of two part. I first made a basic mountain range painting from brushes and combined it with a stock photo of mountains. The upper part is mostly painted by me and the bottom portion is mostly stock. The light rays were brushes with filter effects to achieve the "light rays" look. And last was to add texture to further blend the images together.

I had to resubmit this wallpaper because its size was off and the site wouldn't post it. Thank you to pink-sakura for helping me figure out why my wallpaper wouldn't show.
