This is Kaneda as a counterpart to Tetsuo. Both are main characters in Akira and not conceivable without the other one.
In the story Kaneda is always a rebel fighting for his own. So i had the idea to put him into a rebel-sign, the one i used is from a german group, i like it 'cause of the gun inside. The background is a reworked photo from a wall i made.
Kaneda himself is a scan from the art-book 'Akira Club' and shows the cover from Edition Nr. 102, appeared 17. July 1989 in the Young magazine.
I wanted to show Kaneda as a painting on a flaked off wall.
To get a little depht i spared out most of the cracks (and put in some others) in the character and darkened his gun.
Some of you guys have seen this several months ago in SZ. Because i had small time it lasts until uploading it with some changes - in a good or bad way.
Suggestions and comments are welcome!

AW! SWEET! You didn't give up on this wall! I am so glad! I still love this wall like the first day I seen it in SZ wallpaper. IT IS SUPER COOL! Great job! Keep it up!

The peeling paint is an amazing effect. It gives it a certain look of post-destruction. Great job here.
