I like the colors of the background. Unfortunately, I think the bold yellow stands out a lot more than the actual character though. I think a bit of color tweaking on the character to make him a bit bolder would've helped make him stick out a little more. It's nice though.

Nice starburst, the burn shadow in between his legs though though, i can't take my eyes off it! The dark lines with the outline have a pink single pixel bleed too that looks sorta pink, I think that normally happens due to sharpening or dodge, I can't unsee it! >_<

I think that if you could add some lighting effect relative to the background to the character, it'd be a nice wallpaper.
