First submission! This here is Shikamaru (I'm quite a fan of him, hehe) executing his Kage Kubi Shibari No Jutsu (Shadow Neck Bind Technique).
The Inspiration: I guess I was looking around for wallpapers of him, but there really aren't many around, so I decided to make my own. :]
The Look: I wanted this wall to look clean. It started out minimalistic (kind of like how our Shika handles things), but eventually got more detailed. The vectored shadows are supposed to have the effect of coming straight at you from good ol' Shika. Scan of Shikamaru provided by ~lhparadise in the scans gallery.
The Work: Spent quite a few hours tweaking/making this because I was using a touchpad, lol. *continuously tapping things twice*
Anyhow, hope you like it (esp. fellow Shika fans)~ :3
Edit: Oh my, thanks for the comments, I'm so glad you like it. XD Cleaned up the white edges around his hair and a little white bit at the right edge of the image. :] And his pose is actually his thinking-of-some-ridiculously-genius-strategy pose. I couldn't find a scan of him actually using the exact technique, so the concept is a little stretch but...it's the thought that counts? ^^; Again, thanks for the input, it's much appreciated!
