As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Can be kinda annoying when you have to take care of a lot of things all day long... but the referees were good and the discussions were interesting. I don't rly want to stay into politics though... not entirely my cup of tea

Kuddos to you!
This is actually my third wally, unfortunately I haven't saved the link where I got this google image (originally a very small image like that of an AP sig) but the first one which has been directed through the gallery without taking any actions of passing it beyond Session Zero. >.< (quite surprised with that :O). Apart from that, this is also, umm, the first Ichiruki wally I've almost succeeded out of countless PSD junks I've made for these endearingly beloved Kubo characters :P
The color theme is plain and since it got submitted in no time, there were still some flaws like the strange black shadings in Rukia's hair, and Ichigo's blurred eyes, and some was not contented with my BG, but I'll think of whether to change it or not since I barely have no time to continue polishing this wally atm. Anyway, your comments are much appreciated, thanks a lot! :)

Hey, I like it! What a great dynamic between the subtle shading on the skin/clothes/hair, and the contrasting outlines with extremely pleasing variegated thickness. I see elements that remind me of a few things: a painted wall scroll, a cell shaded video game, and even those time-elapsed light tracer commercials for cell phones. A beautiful, ballanced piece, well done. P(T_T) emoticon

Hm...overall idea of this was nice,but there are some things I would point out:
The bold lines like that could be good,but the ones on Ichigo's eye...not so nice to watch...he looks like a Alice Cooper with his make-up all messed up,lol...haha,I can't believe I remembered Alice Cooper >:D emoticon

Also,the scarf or whatever it is around Rukia's neck looks strange...that's the only thing on the wall that has a pattern on it,so it draws attention too much...also,it doesn't have outlines,and I think it should,so it would blend in better...
I think the bg is too random too...maybe a paper pattern,or a wall would look better...or a simple gradient...this way it's just too random,It really doesn't have any connection to the image of them...
It is kinda blurry and some lines are a bit sharp,but that comes last,in my opinion...it really doesn't matter to me that much...
I really hope I helped a little,and sorry if my words were a little harsh...I also did get a lot of comments like this one on my first walls,and that's what kinda helped me to improve,and do a better work on my next walls,so I hope that will be the same with you...

Once again a Ichigo and Rukia wallpaper. I really love it! Like Siamese said before, it really looks like a painting or a cell shaded video game. Excellent execution!
I'm not a big fan of the Ichigo X Rukia duo, but your walls are really cool. Fav+.

I personally don't like the pair at all (XD) emoticon

but this wallpaper is soo neat and original.The artwork is very fine and the artwork turned into a wallpaper is just splendid! Hardly looks different from the original art |(n_n)| emoticon

yet original in your own style! Kudos! It really is very welll made. Simple and neat with emphasis on the characters and yet the backgrounds not too complex neither is it too simple (~_~) emoticon

well perhaps it is a bit random but its alright! This is good but I guess it could've been somewhat better with a different background and a bit of light on their faces. The positioning is good but a bit of faces look somewhat squashed up so it could do with some streching and some space *slight*
Well this was refreshing since it was original but it could use some more creativity!
The face lines on Ichigo's face are a tad bit messed up and Rukia could perhaps have gazed dreamily into Ichigo's eyes heck it would've been awesome then |(C_C)| emoticon

Well overall its nice and could do with some editing :)

Congrats on finally getting the wallpaper approved and worthy of being here. I'm so proud of you, I just knew you could pull through. As I've mentioned before this picture of Ichigo and Rukia is very different from all the rest that I've seen of them simply because their appearance is charismatic, especially Ichigo. This angle displays a softer of side to him and Rukia's presence is quite peaceful and darling.

I really like the way you've vectored them, the lines are thick and vibrant on their shirts, it's also done quite diligently throughout the entire vector. I think it gives them a unique look considering that I have not been seeing too many vectors of this style. The colors are soft and subtle, and the background is simply divine, I really like the styling of it. The wallpaper is truly original and refreshing to look at, you did a great job!

It's a nice attempt but that scarf or ascort or whatever it is on rukai's neck just looks so scary, it's like it was extracted from a differnt image or something, oh and you need to reduce your outlines, huge line usually reduce the quality of an image, basically i agree with everything stormfangs said, so keep practicing you'll eventually get the hang of it

This is cute, not a fan of the pairing. Though this is cute and I actually like the way it is drawn it kinda gives a traditional art feel unlike most CG art. I also like the colors, not too bright and gives it a bit of a warm and fuzzy feeling ^^ Nice job! Keep practicing and you will be really good.

Well ... the wallpaper hasn't changed one bit from when I saw it in session zero ... so ... my comment about it would technically be the same comment I left in session zero.

Your concept is very nice though, but the wallpaper itself needs a bit more work like I mentioned before when this wallpaper was in session zero ^^;

This is a very sweet wall and I love the image it's very warm and heart felt. I think everything looks great except the patterns in the background I think are a bit distracting maybe a solid color would be better. Nice job B+ :)

Hmmm nice enough wall ^^, I think it's a big improvement, what struck me first were the way their bodies were shaded, it seems to bring out a lot of ... not sure what word is appropriate but a sense of originality? Like when someone does a great sketch.

Their faces still seem a little strange but maybe that's because I'm getting used to seeing HQ vectors a little too often @~1@, bg seems to fit with the new style very well.
