Woo, I actually remembered to pick a group for this to go in. BoB loves you. And so does Sexual Harassment Panda!
That guy - (o-o)^ is hot, mk.
I started this almost 4 weeks ago, when I saw the image in the recent scan submissions on Minitokyo, and I was like "*O* OMG, this is gold." .. For a face shot. >>;
But it didn't take 4 weeks, I'm just REALLY slow. It was like a max of 8-10 hours, I don't know, I don't set up a timer and time myself when I wall.. like some people seem to do.. >>;
Ok, now obviously, I gave him color! omgwtf! 8D He looks good when he's not being blue. *slaps her knee* Get it? Hur hur, I made a joke. I cleaned him in CS3, I used the color replacement tool to get an idea of what colors I wanted where and stuff, then moved it over to Painter X and cleaned it and smoothed it a little more by painting. (duh) I put some more detail in his eye, because the best part of anime is the eyes. x3 Eyes are so pretty!
I extended his hair to one side, and flipped the image, because I personally put my icons on the left side of my desktop, and I was planning on using this as my wallpaper. (Wtf, who uses their own made walls as their wallpaper?)
Painted the branch, omg, I know it sucks so bad. I Made it blurry because it's in the foreground. I blurred a couple sakura petals for that reason to, but with motion blur, like they're falling. And to go with the sakura flower by his mouth I painted in a few little petals around his outfit and one that seems to be floating off his head. Lastly, I painted a sky.
It's so generic, but it's pretty. =)

Edit: Ok, screw that branch, guys. It's terrible, so it has to go. X_X I need to work on branches. Uploaded version with out branch and here's the branchy version if you wanna see it and how terrible it is, lol.
Edit2: Hi, lol. I got some good suggestions in my comments, so I acted on them and tried to fix up the wallpaper a little more. It would be safe to say that you should expect more revisions.. but I dunno. Just trying to make this wall look the best that it can. Thanks everyone for your critique and stuffs~ Hope this looks a bit better~
