been a long time since i've read the divine comedy, and i still loove it so much <3 emoticon

this description is gonna be kinda quick because i hafta get to work x_x
but basically, that quote from the divine comedy pushed most of this wall into being.
i love devil may cry. i never had the time to finish 3, but i loved what i played of it. and vergil is badass.
that scan just screamed "bring it on" to me, so a battle was what i went for. the background is a combo of a stock photo and me painting and drawing my ass off. as were the evil lil monster guys.
many screenshots, and many drawings from scratch went into this.
i wanna thank my army a ton for their criticism and support and awesome ideas.
and when shadow_dude uploads his wall to AP i have to link to it, because his was just awesome.
ironicly, we used the same scan.

I just can't help but stare at this. All that drawing really payed off. I never read the book but I might but the awesome lighting effect from the window to the those monsters are well made. And even you got the detail of the windows down. This is a a great DMC wall, definately one of the best.

Vergil's teh hawtness. Can't really find anything to complain about. I grew sick of anime/game/basically-butchered-art wallpapers, but this is one of the few that amaze me.

And I don't care what anyone says...DMC3 was a great game. I didn't mind the not-quite-FFAC graphics. I like the game, and no pansy can convince me otherwise.

WOOT! Goo Kalico! I love this wall!

I have a real hard time finding DMC walls that just scream DOWNLOAD ME! But this one sure did it. Add to the fact that I'm a DMC fan girl (though I lean towards Dante XD) this equaled an instafave.

But seriously, your walling skills are top notch, and I am very impressed by your artwork skills as well. I would never have the patience to hand draw elements to be put into a wall. Not only did you draw them, you matched the art style! The color and the lighting match and enhance the mood already established by the scans own colors and pose. This is a fantastic wall, and you deserved to win your compettin.

The light coming out from the window is done in a very well manner!The blood on the wall is nicely done (are nicely done the right words??) The whole scenery is so nice !!
