Kannaduki no Miko is one of my favorite animes, so I really wanted to wall this it. I really enjoy doing scenic walls so it was fun making this, and ive never done a widescreen wall so this will be a first for me.
The wall was based off a scan, and a bunch of screencaps, and a few things made from scratch. xD I extracted the arch, and made a sky. I couldnt use the moon because it was cut off and too small. So then I had to go through the extreme pain of finding a replacement. I think I went through about 10 different planets before I was satisfied. First I found a really large pic of the moon, colourized it and placed some effects on it, but that turned out pretty darn hideous. Then I tried taking a planet tutorial… XD that REALLY didn’t work… lol! So then I was so frustrated I took parts of the moon from the scan and some screencaps from the show and pieced them together and built a new moon. loL! Then came the field of death flowers. -_-'' I really despise flowers now. I painted the flowers!! Yay! I made a template field of flowers from the scan and screencaps and then painted them! my first painting ^^
For the char...this is a first for me to have such small characters in such a large wall. But of course, they would be out of proportion if I had made them bigger, and I really liked the size of the moon and arch. So the characters are from a screencap as well, and so are the mountains.
Ok so then the sky, obviously I used a gradient, but then I added nice little stars around the moon. Then I added little glowing petals above the field and some clearer ones mostly around the arch. And finally I added an o so awesome texture over the entire wall. ^^ So that’s my Kannaduki No Miko wall, and I call it “Overlapping Sun and Moon”. This is the title of one of the episodes, and it was so pretty I decided to use it. Ok, enjoy! Comments are welcome please!
