Loosely based on this scan of Sheryl Nome.

This was an experiment with colors for my own amusement. I lifted a few elements from the ED of episode 16 (Northern Cross). Tried to add as much flair as I could to the piece - this is Sheryl we're talking about, after all. Background colors were the hardest. Originally, they were of a cooler temperature, but I felt this worked better.

EDIT: Got rid of the blur (could have sworn I deleted that layer before saving) and the Sheryl Nome text. As for the wall making use of color combinations that burn your retinas...man up! Who needs eyes anyway?

Holy shit I love this. the colors are absolutely gorgeous. The one thing i'm not a fan of is the sheryl nome text, otherwise, this is awesome.

Wow at first glance, i really like this but when i downloaded the wall, i've noticed a lot things that still needs improvement... the background is too blurry, her right arm is so straight (the way you cut it) and you can see that it has a bad extraction.

but the colors are awesome, been always a fan for art :)

I agree with Donnyo, them be nice stars... -cough- Anyways... the effect inside her body showing captures is really amazing looking. I love Sheryl. The background is indeed a bit blurry, that's about the only complaint I have thus far. Excellent work ^_^

Oh,my goddess Sheryl...beautiful,nooo,gorgeous as usual!Ranka could have missed from her eyeglasses and you should have left only Alto or none of them!Sheryl is too beautiful too need other characters in the wallpaper too or if it was Alto it should have been a wallpaper with him embracing her.Anyway what can I say,I love it,skipping the Ranka part,except that all it's great,I love the colours and the idea!

This is like a mix between 80's retro style and the Gankutsuou style, tripped out on acid and PCP. A friend of mine commented on the brightness but I responded, "You can't darken the greatest star in the universe."

I think this is the first really awesome wall for Macross F, and I expect to see many more (especially with Sheryl in them) soon.

+fav for Sheryl hawtness.

I love it! the character colors are great i must say its very creative and colorid ^^
but im not agree with the red background :( i think its too much red >.< another background color would have been fine. and...why just widescreen :( XD

This is a really cool concept.
i like the colors and the image montage. but i think some of the lines are a little uneven and the BG is blurry. and Alto should be in both glasses XD
