Haha this is way early but I really felt like making a Halloween Wallpaper, and I knew this was to only oppertunity I would have to do it (damn work). So this wallpaper was made in Photoshop and Illustrator. I did alot of the background in illustrator, and the did layer blends and the character extraction in Photoshop.
When I first started making the background in Illustrator I had this amazing plan to do loads of bats, spiders and other Halloweeney things. After a while though I got to a stage where I realised I didn't need all that to make it look good, and it would look far too cheesey if I did.
I also added text in a very unreadable font because I didn't want it to distract from the rest of the wall. It was probably the bit that took me longest Oo;; I was originally going to leave the left side of the wall blank but it just didn't look right when it was. I spent forever trying to think of something that fit the wall and very nearly put the words "I'll put a spell on you" on there (inspired by Aqualung).
Anyway... I hope you enjoy and that this gets you in the mood for Halloween ^^
