After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

    This is my second wallpaper in Animepaper. The first wall was a failure and couldn't make it into the gallery.
    This time I used a lot of layer and opacity. Combining the image together to become a little bit crowded wall.

    I don't know how to explain what I have did on the wall but please let me know if I can improve the wall...

    I have chage most of the wall in the 2nd revision. I've clean up most of the low quality image and resize the wall to 1600x1200 as recommended by Akiranyo and also remove most character and replaced the b&w background with a new background...

    But the weird thing is even after 6th revision, the background still show the dithered pixel although I have done a lot of clean up on it.

    In 7th revision, I removed all character and only use the girl as background. I changed the wall title as I set the wall to be in underwater... I still slacking on removing the dithered region while I made to cover up the low quality image used in the wall. Anyway please comment so I can repair the wall a little bit more...

    hmm...there is so many things to look at in this wallpaper..If you are aiming for black and white just use that color. because in this wall, I don't know what colors you are aiming for.
    it really looks crowded, try lessening some parts a little.
    you can also remove the sign at the bottom right corner though..

    I will sound hard, but this is also a fail. Reasons:
    1. Too many characters, is just too crowded and busy.
    2. The styles has no realtion between each other, one is colored, second black-white, different size and different image quality.
    3. Lacking overall quality, some of them are looking like from screenshots and low basic size of wallpaper, 1024x768 was good 5 years ago, but not now.
    How to improve: less charascter, more color, more brushes and effecrs, better quality characters (which means high quality sources as scans plus additional cleaning on them)

    Thanks for the comment, after I read through all of your comment, now I know what to be corrected... I'll remove the black and white background and replace it with another background...

    I will keep the colour character but I'm trying to do hyper clean up on all the image I used in the wall... Hopefully it will got better in the next revision...

    Anyway, thanks for commenting and advice, I really appreciated it...

    You didn't read all of my comments. Sure is better with less characters and in colored, but the weak image quality is still here and it is even more noticable as before.
    I say again do not use screenshots in your wallpaper, unless you are not a expert in vectoring.
    For the background would be best abstract (is the easiest for staters), with using the colors of the character in the foreground to match as it is possible.

    Actually I'm not good with vectoring and the major drawback is that I only used GIMP as a tool... I don't have PS installed and most tutorial on vector only focus a lot in PS...

    This will be the last try to recreate back all the flaw and make a more simple wall... Hope it works...
