Hmm, I know that you really want to get a wallpaper accepted in the gallery. So, heres a few things that I would change in order to make this more 'exciting' if you wish.
One of the things that you can do, is instead of putting the guy in a random frame, put him in a "photo", kind of like the frames that I used here: http://www.animepaper.net/gallery/wallpapers/Code-Geass/item96224/?commented
Then, if you use a frame like that, maybe write the Chinese text on the white opening. Also, it would look nice if you then placed a few of the flower petals over and under the frame. Or if you made a heap of flower petals and then placed the frame on top of the flower petals. If you use this idea, it will probably look better if you removed the branch.
You can decide for yourself what looks better, and what ideas you like and what you don't. I do think your wallpaper has potential, don't give up!! I want to see your final result
