This is another Kaze Hikaru themed-background...
Please tell me what you think.
I'm still having the same problem that I'm having with my other wallpaper; the dimensions are right, but I can't get the KB's to match up with what the guidelines require.
How do I fix the resolution of this?
Please help me ^^" And, let's just pretend...that I'm totally clueless, so when you're explaining something, please be vivid.

Hi, i think your rejection wasn't because of the low kb's but about the quality.
Don't know PhotoImpression 4 but i'm sure you can change the quality of pics from low to high (numbers of pixel in an area).
Inverting the wall you made is one thing, the second is that mistakes can be seen very clearly because of the bigger size, e.g. the red points on the left.
For your first wall you are starting with a very difficult style, looks like watercolour.
There are intersting points but you should work on the technology and arrangement.
Some examples: the small text can't be read, the different types don't fit together, the ranks (in the other wall) blends over and - this is important - the characters are worked out very bad.

In my opinion, invertion doesn't make your wallpaper better. Microwar said the most stuff.
Also think that the wallpaper don't has the quality to be a 1600x1200 resolution.

And as was mentioned, the watercolor technique is one of the most difficult ones.
You should begin with extracting + photo manipulation. Than vectoring and painting styles. And at least airbrushing and watercolor.
Think as a RPG game. You must have certain skill level to better techniques.

I like the idea of it, but the quality is really bad - that would only work if it had clear lines and colors (a tiny bit more colored palette) and the people on it should look more like people than some figures which are turned into reversed colors...
