This may be as close as i get to those pretty, shiny, trendwhoreish wallpapers. we'll see.
I've been vectoring another wall for quite some time (AP exams and prom, i'm a bit bogged down) but i was in need of a new wallpaper and having just watched the (fabulously fabulous) Kino No Tabi, i thought i'd see what the scans sections of MT and AP had to offer.
Awesomely enough, Tama-Neko (officially my favorite person on earth) scanned this (and many others from the gorgeous You visual book) to the gallery! this was one of those scans where you just love it as soon as you see it. Execpt for those blotchy looking stamps, that is.
I agonized over what to do with this wall: it was either a vector to make up the missing parts of Kino's coat, or it was a blur-blend-blur-duplicate-esque issue as the original scan was a bit small and a bit grainy. i picked option two - i've only got ONE day off, and as it is i'm supposed to be primping and preening like a braindead idiot for prom - really, i care but i don't care enough about my (short) hair to spend all day on it. so, i threw together a wall.
The small stars (FULLVIEW HAH!) might be overdoing it; i'm still trying to decide. If your monitor isn't decently bright, you'll probably be missing out on most of the colour. my favorite part is probably the text - "the beautiful world" was done letter-by-letter.
Layers are lots (more than 15; not counting the letter-layers in "the beautiful world") stocks used are none (i think); enjoy!
(edit: re-uploaded on discovery of AP's file compression XD)
