A quick grungey wall i did of rin. pretty much all i did here was put in some stock on factories in the back, then play around with some textures, blurs, and overlays. the font used is alice in chains' facelift font off of their self-titled album. the lyrics are from the song of the same name from Bushs' album Science Of Things.

Hmm I wish there wasnt so much texture over the scan, especially on her face, but I just love the text placements. ^^ Cool for a quickie :3

Wow! that is the best text I've ever seen, or at least seen in a long while. it's so great, and compliments the image quite well. and it's not too over the top. another fine work by you. great job with the sky, the fog, and the rain. plus the buildings and everything else in the wall. ^^

When I first saw this wall, I could have assumed it was of Serial Experiments Lain--the grunge look, mention of cables, the backdrop, the purple and black, and the girl kinda looked like Lain ('til I did a close-up). Anyway, very nicely done, details are fabulous, background matches well with foreground, colors blend nicely. The one thing I think could use some altering is the text. The primary "letting the cables sleep" seems a bit much. I'd tone down the contrast, maybe add some texture, and certainly tone down the "the cables" on her dress. But other than this, really nicely done!

I almost thought is is from Serial Experimental Lain, with all the font and colouring.
I love the style so it is naturally look beutiful to me. I like how it all look all old and gloomy, with the character having just slightly more color as highlight. The text alone recalls me of Lain, and it help contributing to the feel of the wall (i.e. you dont get it as much as if you watched the anime)
On the downsize: The blurring was not done well enough. There is a clear border between the blurred and non-blurred parts. As well, I dont think the stock photo of a factory is well suited as the background for the character. Well, I cant think of anything I must admit, but still...

Sexy. The bg is sexily textured, which I fell in love with. The colours are also sexy, bringing the sexiness within the girl. The text is overwhelming, which brings out the sexiness of this wall. I dunno if the sexy text is a bit sharp, perhaps it can be even sexier with some minor blurring? Sexy wall by sexy waller....XDDDD +fav

Very nice use of grunge and texture to get a nice rainy effect that goes along with the background. And the industrial skyline gives the wallpaper a lot more depth and emotion. the lack of color, which would kill most walls, seems to actually make this one fit perfectly. Very, very nice.

I love moody walls like this. Fav for sure, crapmonster. I personally like the scuzzy effect the texture over the subject gives. Makes me feel like I am looking through dirty glasses or a dusty lens. Thanks!
