The amount of patience, hard work and an eye for quality is what defines this wallpaper. Character is painstakingly vectored off a real life toy image with references to screenshots. Despite the difficulty level, ~pvc24 still manages to nicely depict the image in anime fashion and yet able to find the mental strength to come up with a background composition that is both aptly fun and pleasant in atmosphere.

Wallpaper spiel!

Heh, this is one of the most amusing images of Mugen I've ever seen XD The image came from an ad for the Japanese DVDs and after a bit of fixing, it was good to go. I imitated the style of the covers, with the diagonal design and heavy use of patterns (some henna tatoos and Chinese paper cuts I had lying around XD).

One with Jin later... someday :3

I love Mugen. The scan you took the stock from was a great find. I simply love it. The background is awsome too. It really fits the Champloo image, well in my opinion anyway. I'll rock this wallpaper for awhile while I await the Jin one ;) Thanks for sharing.

Cool wall! i haven't been able to find many good samurai champloo wallpapers, but this one is defintely one of the best. i like how the background and color really fits mugen and the anime in general.
