I rather like this uncharacteristic FMA image of the military folks in a totally un-FMA atmosphere. I mean, the FMA world is based off of Europe, yet here they are in a typical Japanese high school graduation setting. Plus, Roy's getting pwned by a dog. Very excellent. After extracting/cleaning/repairing the scan, I repainted the background in Photoshop based on the original image, minus the building, which kind of made the image claustrophobic in my eyes. Decided to go for the sepia-toned old photograph style, which I hadn't done in quite a long time. The wood grain texture is blended from several photos I took of some desks.

Superbly done. Admittedly, I seem to be a sucker for sepia-style "memory" wallpapers, but--my biases aside--this wallpaper is quite impressive. By removing unnecessary aspects of the original scan, and then revamping the background and giving a photo frame, you create an entirely new atmosphere that gives the scan new life. You are skilled in image transmutation. :) *puts the wallpaper on his desktop*

I love this wallpaper. I can't find any flaw with it. I love how the gang is just... well, non-military-ish in the photo. Great choice to put it on a hardwood table. It gives it that home-quality feel. Kinda like the title says. A memory. And with the old look added, it's like a faded memory. This only brings more emotions to the picture. You've done a really wonderful job. Please, please keep it up.

This the best Full Metal Alchemist wallpaper I've ever seen...and yes it is a little odd to see them in a japanese type of graduation look...this truly looks like an old picture of the important Full Metal Alchemist military characters form the show...This would look like it was taken out by Roy Mustang him self. so much so ththat it looks very official. One can truly see the full effort put in to this, right down to the color shemes, concept, and all the many alterations that was placed to make this look very convincing to the story line of Full Metal...two thumbs up from me!

Interesting, the old style photo look really fits in with the FMA universe and the costuming makes it look that little bit more special, to be honest I really like this one.

What is this I see? O_O another excellent wallpaper done by tama neko.. thats what I see! XD Nice work! I don't really like textured wallies all too much. But you did a nice job! Not too much textures.. thats good.. it really kills my eyes sometimes.. =_= I like what you did.. a picture on a desk theme (or wooden floor whatever).. XD not really original.. but, it works for me all the time! lol. um.. I think I saw this in minitokyo.. I'm not sure though.. =_= I think I posted here already aswell, but I don't remember -_-" *smacks self* oh! And also shows a bit of humour aswell! I love wallies like that @_@ Great! Love it!

I love FMA, but I didn't like this wallpaper. It looks more like a bad photo than an old photo to me... the look is too forced... Nice pic, though ^_^

This is actually a funny one i like how the way you used the old kind of photo look it makes it more taken at that time its really great though nothing more.
