As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Yays! New wall from me before i go on hiatus mode again. xD

Anyways this wall is for the war over at PV. It was the last round and the results were out recently and apparently EVI won! Yay go team EVI! =D

This wall was vectored based on this scan i got from the AP gallery, and also this 3D image i took from Shoofly-Stock at deviantArt. Everything is 100% vectored by me with photoshop CS2. Vectors are'nt exactly my favourite type of wall to do because it's just so time-consuming, and it kills my computer by making it so freaking slow. >__< So overall, there's a bunch of layers there (did'nt bother to count).

I could'nt have finished this wall without the help of θBeckor, `umboody, `stullz, `anolibb, and `clarings. Thanks so much for your help guys. =3 It was nice working with you all, and sadly the war is now over, but on the bright side, it was a whole lot of fun, and our hard work finally paid off in the end. ;D

I've got to say I love the instruments, especially the piano. It gives it a nice, peaceful sort of feel to the background of your wallpaper.

Oh a Hagi wallpaper,I love all the pictures with this guy,I don't know what he has but every picture where he appears looks great.This wall is also incredible,he looks elegant and smart and talented as always and the details in the room are amazingly,I love that the room seems really like a real one.And yeah I got to say your skills for vectors are amazing too.A favorite from me for your wonderful work!

Nice attention to detail, you didn't miss a thing. It might just be me but Hagi just seems a little under colored for you background, he has to much grey and it really doesn't compliment your color pallet. Like the wood textures, the give some depth.

But what happened to his right arm? It looks like it's twisted, it's also in the scan I see.

Woaaa... sorry 4 the late comment...
but remmember i went to party.. well i got sick.. so i felt too bad to sit and browse websites..
my fever was soo high... reached 39,4ºC...
so.. today i'm better... with less fever and ready to read and comment xDDDD

soo yay.. this wall is soo amazing.. i love the amount of effort you put on this...
i agree.. vectors are so time consuming... makes me feel tired even when i look at them xD
so, what can i say?.. mmm i love the room, love the piano... windows look awesome..
only little thing i still don't like are the candles (sorry i couldn't explain more and help you to get what i meant... you know this week was unusual... stupid sickness kept me on bed for 2 days... so nvm... the wall is great anyway xD)

I am late, aren't i? I just came back from my trip and i am really...really sick :(
Anyway, i am sorry for not seeing this lovely wall but now that i am i wanna say that this is freakin awesome. Very nice vectoring and lovely colour combination. I like brownish colours so much, they are so warm and gentle^^
Plus i love the scan and especially the musical instrument.
