This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I like what you've done with this wall, especially the feel it has. Also, I like how you focused the wall with the lighter colors in the bg in the center. Neat idea to use b&w manga, just wish it were larger.
Dogs omg i love those drawings o.o the wall is quite simple but still like it. try to make a larger version next time, do it for chibikko xD me needs 1280x1024 xD lol good job
Lovely use of colors and texture... *^.^* The composition is very effective, and I like the black and white >_< I wish that there was something that would draw a little more focus to the guy... whether it'd be colors or what-not. Although that might destroy the overall ambiance of the wall =/ I dunno. Great job with this wallpaper though XD

I love simple walls, though I can't make them >__<. I like the black and white sparse detailes of the bg and the chara, and the little hint of blue you added. It has depth and shows solitude I guess? I like the dogs font as well. A well executed piece, awesome job!
Awww... ive never seen a wall like this before.. its soo nice.. its soo.. i dunno... i just love it... i guess its simplicity attracts me the most.. i just love it... great job.. ^^
Just because I love Dogs, this wall gets an instant squee to me XD
Besides that I love the loneliness feeling you're able to bring out in this piece. Awesome work on the bg; is it a stock photo? Drawn art? Another that I love is the muted colors of the sky and landscape.. good job.
I love the simplicity of this. I don't know the art, character, or story, but as a wallpaper, it's beautiful. ^^ I'm glad to see the manga scan incorporated in the texture so well (or vice versa). Faving. ;)
