I really like the adjustment, it makes the wallpaper more complete, well in my opinion anyway. The background is the most striking feature in the wallpaper, I like the brushes and textures that are used and the earthly color is soothing to look at. The borders give the wallpaper more of an impact and Yuffie is polished to perfection.

I notice that you stayed true to your original idea and I respect you for that because the slight transparency on Yuffie at the of half of her and down to her right arm, blends in quite lovely with the background. The transparency look also has a nice effect on her weapon. You did a splendid job with this wallpaper and I'm happy to see it where it belongs. I will add it to my favorites because I like it that much hehe!

Ugh. I'm just not into making wallies on Photoshop... photoshop is for photos. This is immediately going to be on my ps3, psp, pc 3 days ago.

Well, well, what have we here. Classic scenic wall, not very exiting, but it looks pretty good, especially the lighting. My main issue with this wall though is the placement of the characters:
First of all you just put the whole extracted area on the right from the scan. This means that yuffie dead right, but that her sword catches the eye first. Should've nudged the extracted scan to the left a bit, making her more centered and thus more visible. Or you could've even flipped the whole scan, because as you know most people see pictures just like they read text: from left to right, so the sword is now always the first thing people will notice.
Anyway, another thing is that the 'camera-angle' of the characters is more extreme than the angle of the background, which means they don't blend that well.

Still, those are only minor issues, unnoticable for the untrained eye. And AP isn't some fancy high-class art museum, so I'll have to conclude that this is a very nice, warm and well made wallpaper.
