While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

First of all A ABSOLUTE INSANE AMOUNT OF THANKS to blu3angl and aplastictree for their great comments during the editing phase of this wall.

Okay as some of you might realize, this wall is very similar to my last Code Geass wall. These two recent walls were meant to be a abstract and a stylized/realistic wall as a pair.

The photoshop file itself was about 100 layers by the time I finished. I probably spent a good 24 hours on this version of the wall over the course of 3 weeks. And the vector itself was also around a 24 hr vector but that was completed awhile before this wall went into production.

My goal for this particular wall was a softer extremely stylized wall that in sense has a dream-like quality to it.
I hope you enjoy it and for those of you who want it full-screen I apologize and may make one that way if there is demand for it (at least 5 people)

First of all, let me congratulate you on a vector well done. I have a question to ask you - how do you do the outlines of the character in your vector? I'm still trying to learn and I still haven't found a good way to, other than hand-drawing them - which is really ugly, or underlaying a black layer.

Well anyway, I can say I'm a huge fan of abstract walls. My involvement in AP also introduced me to scenic walls which I have learned to like as well - so I guess a mix of them won't do any harm. I like the wall you have created - it's quite detailed and sharp, and the clouds in the BG look fantastic.

A few things I would have liked to see are a bit more glowy lighting from the left where the clouds are, perhaps... and maybe a "construction" sorta thing going on somewhere... the wall certainly suits it. And I somewhat would have preferred the smoke to be less linear - makes it seem weird. But oh well, it's already filled enough with stuff.

you made an incredible background out there... i don't know what is the name of those things/effects on the right side, where you wrote "black knight", but that's really well done! *thumbs up*

the effects of the sky, clouds and brushes you applied along the wall, all of them were made very cautios, cause we don't see an "overuse" of those effects...

well, that said, i can just say: favorite!

your wide walls are amazing as always! ^^

The atmosphere here is amazing, especially the glow on her legs. The general feel of this is very dreamy and ethereal, and that contrasts nicely with the metal behind her. Very very nice work.

It's awesome. Code Geass is one of my recent favorites, so the symbolism in the wall is easy to comprehend. Love that its widescreen too. I can never find any of those -_- Kudos!

First of all, yay for the wallpaper resolutions! Finally i've found a couple more walls that fits perfectly on my laptop [1280x800]. Thanks. ^_^ So now onto the judgement on your wall. Well i think you did a great job on the vector. It looks nice and neat. I also like the text on the wall. However, i think you should add some run-down/destroyed buildings on the left side in the background. I think it would look great there. Try maybe doing those buildings somewhere in the distance so that it'll just take a small part of your wallpaper, since you would'nt want to clutter it up too much. ^_^; Well that's about it. Good job on the wall overall. <3 emoticon

Well I guess it is really nice and wow! It definitely looks great in resolution 1920x1200...
I like the background,(the flag too) the colours and this hole fog thing that is going on there...

Whell heres another huge beckor revieuw of this wallpaper :P
I like this wall, i like the vector i like the japanese flag i like the way the text has been done and i like the way the clouds and light are coming down on the wall.*sidenote:have not seen this anime* atloough some parts are bothering me. The stuff on the right looks like a wall 2 me, was it meant to be this way ore is it somethin else, it looks strange.. exepciall ysince the flag stands behind it..
Next there is some pattern/grungebrush left on the left side of the wall and im wondering whut its doing there, i find it a bit disturbing but still aint to bad. Then are there these flows in the air, representing?? they look nice but didnt have to be on there.. all with all i like this wall but some points i found a bit strange.
BTW great job on vector that looks really good! so just for this one time i will fav it ;P

I wouldn't have commented this wall if you hadn't asked me personal, lol. Why? Well, to start with I don't really like this kind of walls, which doesn't mean it's bad, but as a photoshopper myself, I know it's hell to make a complex wall like this. Also, there's no specific perspective in your wall, it's basically just a (in this case perfect) mix of items/things/persons/shapes/whatever with the use of pretty heavy colors. I rather have something more relaxing on my desktop, that's why I'm sorry to don't give a +fav (I only +fav walls that I actually put on my desktop). Again, this is just personal, not an objective review of your wall.
Anyhow, I admire the work you've put in this wall and objectively seen the result is absolutely awesome. At least worth that 20+ comments, people ;).
