Coupel of things I'd say.
First off, the extraction really needs some work. Those hard black edges that vary in thickness don't look good - try to do yoru extraction on a large image and then reduce it for use in your walls. Also, in terms of the scan it looks like you've set the opacity so that it's slightly see through, which actually makes the whole thing seem slightly washed out and wimpy, which is not really good.
Something you could do to help both of these might to add a glow. It's a little cheesey, but it would help disguise some of the more minor extraction problems, and also help blend the scan too the rest of the wall, as I think that's what you were trying to do by adjusting the opacity.

Really cool wall. You did a good job with the brushes. The black edges look a little rough, but rather than that, it looks pretty good. I like it ^^

I was a little surpirsed to see this wall!
I know the illustrator of this game, and he updated this picture on his webpage two years ago and was talking about this *new game* before it was released..
I didn't know people from other country plyed this game too^_^;!
Ok, now on to the wallpaper.
I think the background and the font look a little too *hard/rough* or too *future-like* or little to *scientific* for the soft-touched picture.
The color used for the scan is really pastel-ish colors, whereas background color scheme is really strong and bright. I really can't figure out the atmosphere/mood of the wall, because the background and the scan doesn't really blend..
But good job on the first wall! The background (with the font) itself looks awesome. Very nice.
