I had an idea for this scan for a long time, I wanted to make it very pink ^^. I had a lot of trouble cleaning the scan... Everything I tryed didn't work, but I really like how it turned out in the end =). The sakura tree was a pain in the butt to make, I made it up of fragments from the tree in the original scan. I spent a whole week getting the clouds to be the perfect shade of pink and yellow, I tryed to make it look like a very light sunset ^^. I also thought the big size of the scan and the tree on the upper right corner would balance the whole composition nicelly with the 'empty' space in the bottom left.
