As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. My first wall and first vector in one!

My goal with this wall was to capture the craziness of Kenpachi.

As I said in my forum post, something about staring into the eye of a person revealing their true nature. Then seeing Ken enjoying every second of it.

I see a lot of potential for this wall, only it falls rather short for me.

Here you have a crazy background, with numerous textures and f/x... and then you have the vectored figure, cel shaded. Those two elements don't seem to be working hand in hand very well. At least in my opinion...

I think it's worth considering finding a better way to establish those two elements together as one fluid composition. Roughen up the figure crop via Photoshop, since Illustrator is a lot more finicky with texture/fx detail. Do something to make the background and foreground elements a bit more cohesive.

Zaraki look good, nice vector.
I like how the text look, and the "death and pain are only the cost of fun".
the background I like less, but it is stil nice.

It looks good, but I agree with Zeek, the (very clean) zaraki clashes with the "disordered, grungy" background. that said, very cool, good job.

Nice job, i think you accomplished your goal
