Gilgamesh gets devoured by Sakura or Angra Mainyu (one of the two) in the Heaven's Feel storyline. Kotomine didn't really summon Gilgamesh twice. He never dissapeared after the fourth war. Appearantly Gilgamesh is still somewhat loyal to his pervious master and that's why he supports Kotomine in the 5th Holy Grail War.

Gilgamesh was devoured by the Shadow->Dark Sakura in the Heaven's Feel arc. I was referring to Gilgamesh who almost became Angra in the UBW arc right before he got sucked into the lesser grail. I implied that he was about to become a manifestation of Angra which would have activated the grail which sucked him up.
So Kotomine forced himself upon the 5th Heaven's Feel? (Since he didn't summon Gilgamesh.) I saw that you wrote that he was free of Kotomine's servantship, and you say that the 4th Heaven's Feel didn't end. I remember in the Fate route of the game Kotomine explained somethings about Gilgamesh and why he was participating, but I can't remember the details. Didn't the 4th Heaven's Feel end when Saber destroyed the lesser grail with Excalibur?

Meh. My head hurts. I think I'll go review some of the scenes that I skimmed past with my limited japanese knowledge.
