While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

AP Featured Wallpaper!: When metalmallow first showed me this wall for a crit, i was immediatly in love with it. Theres something about the intense look on shinji's face, with the dark shadow of the eva in the background that just brings back all the good memories of watching eva. The warm colors just set off the feelings that shinji is known for and throw in a verse from a nirvana song, and you just can't get more teenage angst than that. First vector? You'd never know it. Dish ish mai firsht vector.

So... it's pretty grunge... some cliché... uh... "lil' embers" as Kalico calls them... Hm... The vector was really fun to make. I didn't know how to make varying widths of lines on Illustrator and once Kalico told me I felt stupid. xD Kalico kept tellin' me stuff, like... "Make it darker or I'll kill you!" or... "I'll eat your liver if you don't make the lil embers glow!" So yeah... She's sooo mean... FULL SIZE PEOPLEZ AND ROCK HARD!!!!!

Oh yeah......... The lyrics on this wallpaper are from Nirvana's Scentless Apprentice, from their album In Utero, which literally means "in the uterus" in Latin. xD

Love love grungey vectors, and I like the positioning of the various text in the wall. Embers should glow! You did a nice job of combining the abstract eva in the bg and the usual tortured shinji together. Really a job well done~

It is ok, but frankly, perhaps just me, I didn't feel this was all that great, practically speaking, on the front it is not that much appealing actually. The eva and the text is a small saving grace, as for the vector, great job on that.

I like the vector...and that would probably be all I had to say until I saw that semi hidden EVA in the background. Kinda adds to the overall quality of it. But I got to admit that f it didnt have one of my favorite characters in all of anime in it would have been averrage at best.

Hm, this wall is OK but not really stricking a "highlight this!" chord with me. Nice job on the vector, it's very good for your first one. But the overall shades and colors of this wall are not the best they could be. The background seems empty and removed from the vector to me, and the text is very hard to read against the brown background. Not my favorite Eva wall, but definitely not the worst. Still, I think this wall could use some improvement.
