When I first thought of entering the Vectorness Monthly challenge, I didn't know what to do. Then I realized it was staring me in the face- *points to avatar*. Something about Motoko's expression really gets to me. So I dug out an old dvd screencap of mine and started vectoring. The eyes were a lot of fun to do- I played around with the blending a bit, and adding some fine lines to make it more realistic. The vector work on the right is based off of another screencap from the opening, but with some colored overlay. The rest was vectored from scratch. (I wanted to make a decent wallpaper without brushes for once.)
