I did this for this August's monthly challenge in the Vectorness group - colour outside the lines. the title of the challenge is pretty self explanitory, but if you're confused, check out the rules here. i hope i made it before the deadline!
Well there's not much to say about this wall, other than that it was SO much fun to do. Even though I didn't use actual crayons to colour this, i still felt like i was in kindergarten again while i was colouring. i think it was the minimal regard to the lines that made it so fun.
i also added the symbol in red crayon on the left, because i have a habit of drawing on my desk when i'm bored in class. sure, i usually draw with a pencil, but i thought i'd be consistent and use my trusty crayon brush here.
As usual, this was done 100% in photoshop. the desk texture and crayons are from stock.xchng and i vectored the image from a screenshot of an FMA ending.
EDIT:
i darkened some of the shadows a bit and made a version with the title, which can be found HERE
EDIT (part 2):
well i took some of the comments about the plainness of the background to heart. as a result, i went a little crazy with my crayon brush and viola. i think it looks better now :). but i left the older version with the logo up for those that may want it (see link above for that one).
