Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This would be my first wallpaper. I finally got the thumbs up in my Session Zero thread.

I was scanning the All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku scans gallery (no pun intended) for a good scan and I saw this one, and immediately my mind went to Rosie the Riveter. I decided to make a wallpaper out of it and here it is, it has gone through many steps, and the rough draft looked like this. Many thanks to Rukawa11 for posting in almost all of my Session Zero threads for this wallpaper, and usually being the most helpful with his feedback. And thanks to asa01 and clarings for their graphical pinpointing of where I needed to clean.

Splendid! Well done.

I like the link between the character in the foreground and the khaki coloured image of Navy might and power! Reminds me of the legions of Cat and Foxgirl millitary cartoons lying all over the web right now!

I remember this wallpaper in Session Zero. It has most definetly improved a huge amount; the last time I saw it in Session Zero! ^^ You've come a long way ;) Great work with the wallpaper! You must be relieved now ne? :3 The wallpaper is really well done, the background goes nicely with the scan. I like how you've kept it all one colour. Only thing I'll complain about (xD) is the lighting ;P

Great wallpaper, really has that "old" feel to it. I don't see any of the problems previous posters mentioned, but I don't exactly have an eye for fine detail either. Fantastic wallpaper, the boats behind her and the scan in the foreground mix perfectly, I'm not sure I would have done anything differently.

Nuku-Nuku looks like she about ready to kick some butt. She definitely an anime version of Rosie the Riveter. Looks really nice. Very well done with the appropriate colors to make it look like it came from the 30's. Good job!

The character looks like she's going to be doing some hard work, and the text there ("We can do it") fits her ^^
It looks good, but I see a little bit of extraction problem there, but not much, I don't like to extract, so I guess what you did isn't all that bad ^^

Very cute idea. You most certainly improved from your rough draft, and this wallpaper is quite nice. Although, the font you used is definitely not my favorite; I don't know many fonts you had access to, and if this one was chosen due to limitations, but I think you could have found a more effective font. Also, I would have liked to see some color in the final, as was in the draft! The monochrome is okay, but I think a little more color variation would add more interest.
