The Kelly Clarkson inspiriation does not portray well in this theme. Kelly's song was about struggle, this one on the other hand, portrays more on love, not necessarily of the strengths and weaknesses of the human spirit. Nevertheless, I think that it has something to do with the lines of, "I'll spread my wings and I'd learn how to fly...", but you see, it didn't deliver enough nostalgia to emit the Kelly Clarkson vibe.

Needless to say, it still is a commendable work. At thumbnail, I was like, "say what?" its too blurry and killed my eyes, but on closer inspection, I'm at awe. Not simply because its angelic, but because of the way you did the lighting, which I think was the very essence of this wallpaper. The colors were ok for me, but I would have wished you made the yellow/orange more subtle, but not necessarily saturated. To me, it kinda stands out more from the scan and obviously, I would like to see emphasis on the scan, not on the background. Like most people who use wallpapers, its the scan we're really after, the background is supposed to enhance it, not take your eyes off it.

Overall, a pretty good job. The wings killed it due to excessive blurs but hey, it still is fantastic. :O
