Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Ok, I know I did the same as my last wall, but I couldn't help myself xD! I had to try it with Sailor Mars... I wanted to keep all warm colors on the background. The whole thing is around 60 layers T.T including pinned opnes, however I really enjoyed making this wall ^_^. Not much else to say so, I hope you guyes like it. I promise I'll stop doing the same thing ^^!

Hmmm... Does this mean we'll be getting a version with Jupiter-sama too? ^-^ Much like the first one, this wallpaper looks absolutely great. If you did continue this theme with other senshi, I certainly wouldn't complain.

I say "go for a series"! I'm especially interested in how walls for characters with "cooler colors" would turn out (esp. Mercury and Saturn . . . Saturn's could be really neat, especially if you played around with beams of light and such). Besides, these walls are all really creative, and it's not like you're repeating the same design over and over.

Actually wall critique:

So, after talking about how awesome I think this concept is and how much I want you to continue with a "series" of these walls, I'll skip right to the critiques so that in case you do want to continue, you know what to look out for.

I think the text is by far the weakest part of the wall. While the rest really looks like a stained glass window, the words ruin it, 'cuz, well, when was the last time you walked into an ornate church and saw words amongst the pictures of saints on the stained glass windows? Any words you include would probably have to be more blocky (aka made up of glass panes) in order to fit in, and then they'd take up too much attention.

The second weakest part is the design to the left side with the circles. What is that? It really stands out because it looks rather out of place, having little circles randomly placed in a pattern when no where in the rest of the picture are there any small circles.

If you're feeling particularly adventurous on future walls, I'd recommend playing around with a light source behind the stained glass, so that rays of light filter in through the glass, or at least so that one side of the panels has more glow. It would require a ton more work, though, and might end up looking really weird the first few tries . . . but it would be really neat anyways.

Sailor Mars is cool, as is this wallpaper. The concept of stained glass characters in a wallpaper is completely new to me (if one ignores the Sailor Moon one you submitted recently), and it certainly works very well.

The texturing is good, the trace itself is great (and everyone loves Mars anyway-- Who wouldn't?), and the pattern behind her is fantastic. I'll have to agree with the rest of the people who dislike the text: It kinda detracts from not only the plausibility (although hey, it's an anime wallpaper), but also from the attention that should be focused on Mars and the intricate linework.

That said, it's a fantastic wallpaper, with a great concept and great execution. Whether you make more in the same style is up to you, but I'd take some of the people's advice if you do: Expand on the idea. Play with the light. Trace a bad character and have broken panes and a night sky (with a moon, of course).

P.S. Despite what you may think, my name has nothing to do with this show <.<

You probably could not have chosen a better pose for Rei, very angelic and perfect for a Cathedral window.
I agree with a few others above. The text is very distracting, but as far as I'm concerned, this is great and will keep this one right next to the Sailor Moon one of previous. Let's just hope that a certain someone else is on the way next ^_^;;;;
I mean it !! I will fill up your notice box full of Kino Makoto pictures. :D ;)
