I have made various wallpapers but this is my first actual submission here.
Now about the wallpaper.. a few months ago when I first watched the first three episodes of the Karas OVA, I came here hoping to find an amazing wallpaper. Instead, I was surprised to find that the category did not exist, muchless a single wallpaper. Since then, I had my mind set on making a Karas wallpaper. I started on this one a while back but I have not found enough time to work on it continuously. Therefore, I have been working on this on and off once in a while when I have some time to spare.. and this is the result.

Those of you who are familiar with the series should have an idea of where I derived the title of 'Fallen Justice' from. The rest of you may want to find this out on your own.

In the Karas universe, these beings called Karas, are the justice and order between the human world and the demon world that overlaps it. This particular Karas, Ekou, is one who turned his back on the laws he upheld.. a fallen Karas.. a fallen upholder of justice. This wallpaper is based on the world that he likely wishes to create.. that is.. one with utter chaos and destruction. From the moment I had the idea to use Ekou, I knew that I had to portray this chaos somehow.

I obtained the scan from this site.. fortunately a category existed for Karas at least there.. heh.. credits to Serika for that. As for the wallpaper itself, I mainly did a whole lot of brushing and filtering to create the various shadowy and fiery effects. One of the main aspects is the lighting. Owing to the inferno behind him, I needed to a bit of work on Ekou himself to make sure the fires behind him do not go to waste. Anyway, there is not a whole lot else I wish to say. I'm hoping that the wallpaper will speak for itself...
