Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This is the result of 3-4 hours a day during a week of Photoshop tutoring...it wasn't supposed to end up being an AP wall,but we decided it didn't look so bad.
Scan:Gainax Artbook
Software used: Photoshop
PS:gradients,a lot of shapes and lot of vectoring headaches.
Thanx to: Y!Messenger without you we wouldn't have succeded!!
BTW this is my second wall and lary's first...;))

It's got a nice retro feel, and I can't get enough of that ipod look, but the resolution seems a little small.

This is such an awesome wall. Rei is my favorite character and the style you did this in is so cool. The original picture you used for this is one of my favorites of Rei and what you did with it is just too cool. XD
It's so stylish and great, it really does remind me of an ipod commercial.

I love the quizzical look Rei has in the paper, but at the same time I wish I could see her eyes... It's wierd, but I'm wondering what it would look like had you kept the eyes, maybe white with blue dots... or something... I still love it, it's nice and sort of happy, which for NGE is so hard. I like the star background more.
