Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Wow, its very nice! I love the plants in the background you did a nice job on this wall keep up the good work! Nice and simple, thats how I like things!
A job well done... This is a fantastic wallpaper possessing its own great style! I love how the main design is very detailed and greyscale, while the background is simple and delicate in color. An appealing idea that works out so well. You have all of my praise for this creation. (:
I LOVE the brushes or what are the flowers... did you vector those too? Anyway very good idea. And the epmty parts are fine too so what to say i don't like the characters. not the vector work (it's not bad!!). it's just their expression (especielly the right side) which don't fit the background. well you know it's personal opinion still love the idea, good work, good luck with farther vector experience^_~
Bye
I am also a fan of the b&w. Very well put together. There is a lot of detail here without it being cluttered. I only wish there were larger screen sizes (and wide screen) available for download.
This is great for your first try! Love the black and white 'film strip' in the middle and the flowers just add and extra something to it. I also like the pastel coloured stipes in the background.
Your wallpaper is great! I really like vectored stuff and yours looks good. I think it is very original as well. I loved the plant brushes (they're brushes, right?) you put around the characters. The way you wrote Samurai Champloo in japanese looks very nice! I liked the colorful stripes you put on the background. I think it would look a little too lifeless without them, if you know what I mean o__o It gave the wallpaper a special touch!^__^
Keep up the good work!
I love wallpapers like this! Unfortunately, the striped background is a little bit... jarring. Next time a simple color gradient, or an extremely faded large image, might be better.
