Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Yeah, i used a lot of scans lol. Basically the whole concept of the wallpaper is that kino is behind a motorcycle wheel, which is compromised of faded images of people he has met on his journey. I also put a radial blur lighting effect behind kino (which makes kino look like Jesus XD) along with some faded text texture. I also used different old looking textures to give the wallpaper that old looking feel. The background is an image of a countryside town with big hills or mountains, and I photoshopped a faded bright sun in the top right (which isn't really a focal point... just threw it in there). Color selection and correlation was harder than I though, ended up actually taking color samples from the main kino scan lol.

Really.. I know I've already told you this, but I think this is one of your best walls yet. You have really outdone yourself. I don't know where you get these awesome ideas!
I love the lighting(as usual) and the colours you used, and that scan of Kino is so pretty - one of the only scans of her where I can tell she is female!
I love the concept of the people she has met being in the wheel - so cool. And the texture works so well in this wall.
Kino looks like a saint, haha.

Very good, I'm liking how much people nowadays can use Sepia tones and manage to get thru safelly. The center character image is great and the ghost images around are very fitting and subtle enough. I also liked the background image and it's effets, I think I'll try to mimic it hehe.

Amazing how green can go well with yellow/sepia tones, oh well, they are on the same hue level anyway. But your work really make this combination stand out, congrats!

question: why are kino walls the only ones that get textured like this T_T

I like this one...although I would love to see a wall of Kino that wasn't old-looking, like this and the last one you did. Very good though.

Awesome concept, very intuned with the series, great use of the scans, (the file must be huge!!. I don't think the sun is necessary or rather if it was behind the actual wheel it would better since everything else is centralized. The golden color scheme is neutral and soft and not at all too bright, i like it cause it's really nicely done :)

Wow, another instant favourite from your creations… Very nice composition (the ghostly portraits in the wheel are beautiful touch) and great choice of colour, it's so soothing… I love the texture and watercolourish feel of the background, too. Thanks a lot for this beauty of a wallpaper!
