After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Here's a wall I've been working on for some days...

- The parchment contains +/- 7 layers. And even more cause of all the effect I add after... I would say 15 layers.
- Each parts of the writing contains 3 layers per sentence. (tutorial available in the Script Refinery)
- The scan of Link's face is from a random scan found on Google.
- Their is one layer of shading on top of everything.
- The tree is made out of two layers of stock pictures from the site stock.xchng AMAZING site!
- The forest contains 3 layers without the add and is also manipulation of stock pictures from stock.xchng.

It's the first time I use stock pictures and I still don't know really well how to make them really look mangaish... But I guess it's fine in this contest.

I have to say I'm really proud of the poster... <3 emoticon

What took me the most time was probably the paper and the curved corners...

I think I used at least 30 different textures in this wall and it's probably the fastest I did...

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do...

EDIT:

I made this wall more in the 3D style like Zelda on the WII rather than in a more manga style... So it's pretty normal that the background looks pretty real even if I wanted the front tree to be a tab less real...

Ah, I like this one. The concept of copying Robin Hood's wanted flyer for Link's face is really a great idea. Although the background is a little tedious, it looks great with the detail of a rainforest. Well, here's a fav+

Nice wallpaper. I think this is an awesome idea but I think you should have pute " by the order of Ganondorf on the poster to have more of an eerie effect. Anyways I have been waiting for you to submit this... for a long time. Good job on the forest. The text you chose is very well suited for this kind of thing. Good job. Keep up the good work.

the poster and the font is really great ;D
now i see..i have just adjusted my monitor's brightness and now i saw the bg. the trunk of the tree and poster is ok, but the bg forest doesn't seem to fit alot. is it a stock photo? anyway, its good :)

Wow - sweet wall!
Love the concept of the wanted poster of Link. I agree with hickman above that maybe putting something on there about being an order from Gannondorf or something would have made it a bit more interesting, but its not that big of a deal. I still think that "k" in Link looks like a "g," but then again, what do I know? Haha, but in all seriousness, one amazing looking wall. Thanks for the hard work!

Personally I would have had some ridiculous drawing of link rather than using official art. Maybe using a sign post, rather than a poster in the middle of some forest. I was thinking more of a reference to those wanted signs that were in Link to the Past.

I love it! Heehee, made me smile.

The effects are really well done and unlike a lot of custom wallpaers like these with the tree effect, you have done it really well and made it look 'realistic'.

Link did always bear a resemblance of Robin Hood so the scheme is quite amusing and fitting! ^^ Lovely.

Wow! Near perfection!

Have I pushed the wiimote too many times in your hands that you're making Link Walls now? ;-)

I like the changes made on the 3d aspect of paper.

But I think that two things could still be improved :
- bottom of Link seems too round. Perhaps by removing the color (not the lines) on the bottom of the character, the merge between charac and paper will be better.
- In the "wanted dead or alive" there's a little white line around the text. This leads to a "carve" sensation. But it's printed on it, not carved. If I made this wall, I'd try to put a black line instead, in order to add a superposition sensation.

But these tips are just perfectionist ones, I like this wall!
